Unlike the factory battery, which is "flooded" with electrolyte, the new Westco battery utilizes the latest absorbed glass mat technology for more power and reliability. At 500 amps, this battery has approximately 30% more cranking amps than the stock battery. In addition, the this Battery has a slower self-discharge rate than the factory battery for sustained life and reliability making it perfect for longer storage. With the new design, terminal location is OEM correct and installation is easy.
